Adecco has immediate openings for General Labor jobs for a Recycling business in Pittsburgh, Pa. T hese General Labor jobs are long term opportunities and require candidates to do a variety of duties that include monitoring, sorting, and loading product within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities for General Labor jobs include but are not limited to:
- Manually pick cardboard from conveyor belts and separate high-grade materials (corrugated boxes) from contaminants such as wax, plastics, and wet paper
- Remove non-recyclable debris from the recycling stream and dispose of it in designated bins
- Feed processed cardboard into baling machines to create compact, transportable bales
- Clear jams from shredders, conveyors, and compactors
- Use pallet jacks and/or forklifts (if certified) to move and stack materials
- Follow all safety procedures to maintain a hazard-free work environment
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Comfortable working in an industrial or warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Previous labor or warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Forklift experience is a plus

Pay rates starting at $16.00 per hour!
Monday through Friday
- Bus Line Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Regular Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
