Job Description

The Mason Tender supports masonry operations by preparing materials, assisting masons, and maintaining safe, clean, and efficient work areas. This position plays a critical role in supporting productivity, quality, and jobsite safety on construction projects.


Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities


• Prepare and transport masonry materials including brick, block, stone, mortar, and grout
• Mix mortar and cement to specified ratios and quality standards
• Stock materials at work areas to support mason productivity
• Assist masons with layout, placement, cutting, and finishing tasks as directed
• Set up, move, and dismantle scaffolding and work platforms under supervision
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and jobsite procedures
• Perform additional labor tasks as assigned


Required Qualifications


• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and perform physical labor
• Reliable attendance and punctuality


Preferred Qualifications


• Previous construction or masonry experience
• Familiarity with masonry tools, materials, and equipment
• Participation in apprenticeship or workforce development programs

This position has a pay range of $25.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on experience, in addition to an extensive benefits package that includes company stock, and a profit-sharing bonus.
